Compassion, Health, Longevity
Good health begins in your gut. Maintaining a rich and diversified balance in the “universe within” called our intestinal microbiome will play an increasingly important role in the future in the prevention and treatment of many of the diseases that plague modern man, including obesity, diabetes, heart disease, autoimmune disease, mood disorders, as well as the current COVID19 pandemic.
Restoring this critical balance can impart significant benefits in health and longevity. Save your Gut and save the World!
Dr. Shaver has been a practicing gastroenterologist in Lubbock, Texas for 34 years. A graduate of Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas, he is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both Gastroenterology as well as Internal medicine. COVID-19 Kick the Virus Now
In this video, Dr. William Shaver shares his personal experience with a “quick treat” regimen of Vitamins C&D and the probiotic beverage Kefir milk to battle acute viral infections. This regimen has proved effective against common colds, influenza, and in the H1N1 pandemic of 2009 (another coronavirus). Although efficacy against Covid-19 has not yet been proven, this regimen represents an inexpensive, readily available, and safe intervention to try in the midst of our current pandemic.
